Happy Friday!
It’s weeks like these that I really love California …
The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and the skies are amazing.
And the crazy ridiculous heat is just a distant memory.
Or a future terror. Depending on how you look at it …
Each of my four kids have gone through flower giving phases.
In which they bring me flowers from the yard all day. Sometimes on the hour. Or every five minutes.
I usually have to end up setting a limit, but I hate to see their little disappointed faces when I do.
Currently, it’s the four year old who is the chief flower giver.
I’m sad to think that the older ones may have outgrown it.
Although my 9 year old boy did bring me cherry blossoms after basketball practice the other day.
All is not lost.
Our neighbors next door are selling their house
and cleaning out 30 years worth of treasures along the way.
Some of which have been entrusted to us. Like this vintage green chalkboard
complete with Raggedy Ann & Andy. Love.
Now if I could just find a blank bit of wall space …
Our school room is a wee bit crowded right now.
We’re not usually big Valentines Day celebrators,
but the kids did have fun making cards for friends and sharing candy.
Plus, it’s always a good reminder for us
to remember what true love looks like.
Jesus.
How was your week?

I had a lovely valentines week, and seeing that we never celebrate valentines day, I had the most beautiful reminder of Jesus’ love for me. Can’t wait to visit and share.
