Spring is in full swing here in sunny California, and I’m continuing my season of simplifying, organizing, and general de-cluttering of all the things. With four kids, two dogs, and a semi-regular habit of moving, I’m coming to terms with the fact that this is an ongoing (lifelong?) process that will never be fully DONE. I want to be okay (even content) with the less than perfect messiness of life, and to be grateful for what that means.
Life.
Abundance.
Growth.

It is allergy season in Kansas. I’m enjoying the beauty of the blooms from indoors when I really want to be outside! …. My basement needs to have its contents cut in half. We moved in to this house about 18 months ago and the basement became the dumping ground. I’d be happy to purge 25% of it to start!!

Hello! Happy Spring! My whole house needs to be decluttered. I have lived in it for 35 years -raise 5children, multiple dogs,cats, guinea pigs,chinchillas, said goodbye till we meet again to my husband and mother-in-law. And I have all the leftovers to clear out to make room for a new life. Looking forward to a new space with only the things I use.

Here in Kansas, the May Flowers and June Bugs arrive in April. My areas in need of decluttering are the kitchen counters (always), the basement and the garage. Unfortunately, these areas will need to wait to get any attention until after April.

Blessings from Florida! Not the best climate for roses but the Hibiscus are blooming in every color!
I tbought a lovely coral hibiscus to give my neighbor who lost her husband this week. Before I could go to her house she rang my doorbell and brought me a gorgeous lavendar orchid as thanks for looking after her. As for decluttering, I seem to be “waking up” to the huge need to lighten up and create a haven in our home.

Hello from Michigan! Spring is finally here! I have daffodils and tulips coming up – such a pretty sight! My biggest declutter-area is the basement. My family and I have such a tough time parting with sentimental items. We can always recall who gave us what and how we felt when we received the item. I know we need to get rid of some items so we can find some order, but it will be a painful process. I love your He is risen printable. It is hanging in my home office so I can see it every day. When live in the Carolinas which is much like a lot of other southern areas, definitely spring, but can go from 40s in the morning to upper 70s in the afternoon. We had a lot of rain earlier but lately it has been mostly sunny. We moved recently which was great for cleaning out stuff we don’t need, but we still have a garage full of stuff to sort through, declutter, and put away. So that’s our scary place. I downloaded and printed the pages we needed and am ready to go!

Hi! Our weather is getting warmer, although I would prefer it to be even warmer… We just found out that we’re moving, so my whole house will be getting a decluttering! The place that needs it most, I do believe, is my craft room. It’s just so hard to get rid of things that have the potential to turn into other things! Welllll…. I live in Georgia and that means the weather changes almost daily in the spring! One day it’s cold (for us, southerners) and one day it’s hot (like today which was in the mid-eighties). But all-in-all, everything is absolutely beautiful. Green and lush are the way things are looking and it’s my favorite.
Right now I have a messy pantry. It’s every mom’s dream but it’s also a catch all. And my laundry room is messy. It’s large and houses some of my husband’s tools, homeschool books, crafty things, and of course, laundry. Both areas need to be de-cluttered and organized.

We’re embarking on a potted garden adventure here in Georgia. We’re planting things we’ve bought that were organic – such as avocados – and praying they grow well!
My decluttering situation is unique. We’re a big family in a small house, so what we really need are storage containers and organizers for various places. Our entire house needs help! We’ve begun by getting a baker’s rack – it helped a lot.

Hi! Here in Honolulu, Hawaii it will be 84F all week. Fingers crossed the trade winds blow or the humidity can become a bit stifling. The plumeria blooms are starting, after an unusually cold winter. A place I need to declutter is a room my husband and I share and call ‘the office’. Unfortunately it has become the catch-all room for things that need a home (or a flame-thrower!). Loni here in Southern California. We have a blustery spring so far, with lots of wind, and mostly cool temperatures. The weeds are springing up everywhere after a wet winter, (unusual for us in the desert where I live!) But my Roses and trees are starting to bloom too! By far right now my garage needs decluttering, as well as a couple of rooms in my house. I have two daughters getting married two months apart this summer, so wedding stuff has overtaken two rooms and spreading to others.. LOL!!

I live in Florida and it’s been a weird spring. On Easter it was windy & chilly but this week we’re going to be unseasonably warm. The room I need to declutter the most is our bedroom. I live in central Florida and the weather has been in the perfectly delightful mid 50’s for my morning walks the last few days. I noticed a Pileated Woodpecker frequenting a knothole in a Live Oak Tree on our property. So I am wondering if there is a nest being made.
My Brother, Son and Nephew have been doing some clean up on our property, especially concentrating on two large downed trees from Hurricane Irma from several years back. Things are looking like we are taking Spring cleaning seriously here on our little country road.
For me personally, my need for cleaning, and organizing in my large walk in closet. I my store fabric for sewing projects there. I am highly motivated to enter in and do what needs to be done, because I just learned my son and daughter-in-love are having a baby the end of October. Let the organizing, cleaning and creating begin with sewing for my new grandchild in mind.

I’m in northern Nevada and the weather is beautiful right now. Spring is in full swing but at over 4200 feet elevation winter can still make a comeback. Hello from southern Louisiana where ‘spring’ has definitely arrived- along with mosquitos. In the process of giving my whole house a major decluttering- where the family is starting to wonder what am I NOT going to get rid of! Right now my homeschool room is the big project, to be followed with my kitchen and dining room. Tackled the toys, kids clothes and bathrooms a couple weeks ago. Long process but the results are absolutely worth all the effort. Only the good, useful and beautiful things that bring joy are safe😊
