Spring is in full swing here in sunny California, and I’m continuing my season of simplifying, organizing, and general de-cluttering of all the things. With four kids, two dogs, and a semi-regular habit of moving, I’m coming to terms with the fact that this is an ongoing (lifelong?) process that will never be fully DONE. I want to be okay (even content) with the less than perfect messiness of life, and to be grateful for what that means.
Life.
Abundance.
Growth.

It’s sunny and beautiful; everything seems to be blooming and we finally got enough sunshine to get the garden in!
I think it’s a tie between my study room and the garage. The garage probably has more stuff that needs to be re-homed but it’s somewhat organized; my study room has been moved several times since August and is in a desperate need of organization!

I’m in very sunny Las Vegas, NV. We are having up and down temps between 80s-90s. I have eleven full size rose bushes and nine mini rose bushes ~ all gloriously in bloom. My husband built us a new garden space and many seeds are coming up. Now, move to indoors and declutter!! I’m a retired teacher who held on to way too many things! It’s sunny in western Idaho today, but we got down to 30 degrees last night, so I can’t plant much of anything yet. I’m mulching flower beds and digging out sheets to cover the blooming fruit trees tonight.
My challenge is the living room/office area, where everything accumulates.

Here in the Baltimore area the trees are flowering and leafing out, violets and dandelions bloom in the grass, and the allergies are pretty rough!

It’s starting to cool down here, 18°C/64°F. We have had a long Summer – yay! I’m not fond of the cold especially as I have lipodema (circulation issue).
Give me Summer any day! Some rain wouldn’t hurt though.
I have a double garage that is about 80% full from the ceiling to the floor and three cars in the elements. We have a tiny walkway from the back door to the roller door.
My husband and I have been married for four years and his stuff is on one side and mine on the other. I don’t know who has more!

Our family of 6, live oitside of Pittsburgh in a town called Bridgeville, Pa. Currently we’ve been getting tons of April Showers! We planted a garden 2 weeks ago and our kids are eager to see sprouts….nothing yet tho.
Our basement Master bedroom, craft and rec room combo needs the most decluttering. Its a huge area and no closets…yet. Hopefully my husband and I can find time to agree on storage ideas and find time to build something to give us closte space!

Hi, I’m in Columbus, OH, where sometimes it is cloudier than Seattle. It sure feels like Seattle lately – we can’t seem to string more than 2 days together without it raining. And I don’t mean light spring misty rain, I mean the rain that makes you wish you hadn’t washed and dried your hair. At least it’s not in the 40s anymore. All of our flowering tries have bloomed so even in the midst of the rain, it’s beautiful.

I’m in Colorado so each day is unique and could be snowing when I wake up and 70° by end of school day. Our plants are still in hesitation mode because of that so some are blooming and growing and others are still hibernating.

Hi! I’m in Western NY and our snow is finally melted! It’s been warming up and about every other day has gotten nice and warm so I’m taking the kids outside to run around (I’ve got 3 kids, but one is almost 3 months so he’s not running around quite yet). And I’m decluttering all the things. We moved one month before my son was born and I think we’ve unpacked all the boxes finally… But now I’m going through the house and reorganizing and decluttering to make our spaces better.

Greetings from the U.P. of Michigan! It is still cool here – a mix of clouds, sun and sprinkles and wind. But the snow is gone where I live! Having just moved we have downsized and cleaned out a bunch of stuff. However, I have another load of stuff for the thrift store – stuff that won’t make the cut in our new -to-us place.
