One of my absolute favorite songs for Easter (or for any day of the year) is Don Francisco’s He’s Alive.
I’ve been laid up with the flu the past few days, so I was able to put my rest time to good use and make this little art printable for you. You can click on the image above to download and print (trim to 8×10 with a white border for a standard frame size -or 5×7 for a bit smaller).
Then rejoice that Jesus is alive! And, if you’ve put your faith in Him, you’re completely and utterly forgiven!
I also had time to finish this new coloring page printable (sometimes sickness is productive, apparently). You can click on the image to download and color with the kiddos to your heart’s content. I’ve also added these to the Printables Page if you want to see if there’s any you might have missed.
Happy Resurrection Day!
He’s Alive -Don Francisco
The gates and doors were barred and all the windows fastened down,
I spent the night in sleeplessness and rose at every sound,
Half in hopeless sorrow half in fear the day,
Would find the soldiers crashing through to drag us all away.
Then just before the sunrise I heard something at the wall,
The gate began to rattle and a voice began to call,
I hurried to the window and looked down to the street,
Expecting swords and torches and the sound of soldiers feet,
There was no one there but Mary so I went down to let her in,
John stood there beside me as she told us were she’d been,
She said they moved him in the night and none of us knows where,
The stones been rolled away and now his body isn’t there.
We both ran toward the garden then John ran on ahead,
We found the stone and the empty tomb just the way that Mary said,
But the winding sheet they wrapped him in was just an empty shell,
And how or where they’d taken him was more than I could tell.
Something strange had happened there but what I did not know,
John believed a miracle but I just turned to go,
Circumstance and speculation couldn’t lift me very high,
Cause I’d seen them crucify him and then I’d watched him die,
Back inside the house again all the guilt and anguish came,
Everything I’d promised him just added to my shame,
But at last it came to choices I denied I knew his name,
Even If he was alive it wouldn’t be the same.
But suddenly the air was filled with a strange and sweet perfume,
Light that came from everywhere drove shadows from the room,
Jesus stood before me with his arms held open wide,
And I fell down on my knees and clung to him and cried,
He raised me to my feet and as I looked into his eyes,
Love was shining out from him like sunlight from the sky,
Guilt and my confusion disappeared in sweet release,
And every fear I’d ever had just melted into peace.
He’s alive, He’s alive, He’s alive and I’m forgiven,
Heavens gates are open wide.
He’s alive, He’s alive, He’s alive and I’m forgiven,
Heavens gates are open wide.
He’s alive, He’s alive, He’s alive and I’m forgiven,
Heavens gates are open wide.
He’s alive!
Christmas Printables + Other Happenings
December is here! Which means it’s time for free Christmas coloring printables (and I’m working on more for you, along with a super fun project that I can’t wait to tell you about).
In the meantime, you can click the picture above to be taken to the page with all the free printables posted so far, including the Christmas-y ones.
We had so much fun at the Old Town Flea Market last month in Clovis – thanks to everyone who stopped by (and brought us coffee … and tea … and snacks … and coffee)!
We sold the majority of what we brought, which means we’ve been busy re-stocking for this coming up in a few days …
Sweet friends and I will be at the Lydia & Pearl Market this Saturday at Lana Coffee, with lots of fun shopping (and coffee!) to be had. The holiday market benefits City Without Orphans, and is a wonderful opportunity to shop local, while helping out an important and meaningful cause. Would love to see you if you’re in the area! Make sure to tell me you saw it on my blog or newsletter so I can sneak a special gift into your bag π
Also, a fun little secret about these calendars … they’re sold out in the online shop, but I saved some to bring to the Market on Saturday! I’ve gotten so many requests for them, along with the big wall-size one (which I’ll also have a few of), so this is your chance to grab one if you’re close by! Plus, I hear the coffee alone is worth the trip downtown π
Merry Christmas, my friends!
Thanksgiving Printables + Calendars
Happy Thanksgiving week, friends!
First, I wanted to let you know that the 2017 calendars are here! There’s not many left after pre-sales and they’ll only be available in the Hope Ink shop until the end of the week (or when they sell out, whichever comes first).
This is the big, beautiful wall calendar, professionally press-printed on heavy paper stock. Each month is frame-worthy, so you’re really getting 13 large, lovely Scripture art prints along with your 2017 calendar π
There’s also the super-popular mini calendars which come complete with a fun wooden hanger so you can hang it anywhere. These are such a great gift to be enjoyed all year (and, like the large calendars, the art can be re-purposed when each month is over).
I had such fun putting these together, and I hope they’ll be a sweet blessing for you wherever they’re displayed in the new year (but 2017, really?!).
Finally, here’s the usual round-up of free coloring printables especially for Thanksgiving! Would love to see how you use them π

Christmas Coloring Fun
Merry CHRISTmas, friends!
So grateful that the King of the Universe became a tiny human, God with us,Β so that we could be with Him forever.
She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: ‘The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a Son, and they will call Him Immanuel,’ –which means, ‘God with us.’
Matthew 1:21-23
May we never take for granted the miracle.
Have a wonderful day celebrating Him. And His great love for you.
Also, because I love you too, hereβs a couple Christmas coloring printables π
